| Fondation Gianadda: Paintings, Sculptures, Vintage vehicles, ArchaeologyVisit to the Fondation Gianadda in Martigny In early 1976, the engineer Léonard Gianadda, with the goal of building on his property, discovered the ruins of a Gallo-Roman temple – the oldest of its kind in Switzerland. Not long after, on the 31st July 1976, his brother, Pierre, died whilst trying to save his companions from an aeroplane crash.
